The jersey top sewing pattern, also known as tanktop or singlet, is one of the basics in your closet. The combination possibilities are endless: whether with a cute mini skirt or a loose blouse, the tank top pattern is the perfect piece for the onion look! As a summer top or winter top under a cardigan, the tank top always looks good. With the wide neck and armhole binding and the high neckline, the trendy tank top pattern has a modern, sporty look. You decide: Sew the high neck tank top in the cropped version to pair with high-waisted pants or shorts, for example, or choose the longer version for a cozier look that always fits. The pattern for The Basic Top includes sizes XS-XXXL.

Height: this pattern was drafted for a height range of 5'6" (167 cm). If you are shorter or taller than this, you might consider shortening or lengthening the pattern. Follow instructions on shortening/lengthening. Or feel free to contact hello@sewingpartner.com to get a helping hand from sewing mentors when adjusting the patterns for your height.

Tip: For example, for The Basic Top we use a 100% cotton rib fabric with a weight of 330g/m2. The pattern is constructed for a fabric with little stretch. For fabrics with more stretch, you can also sew one size smaller. We recommend a test piece before sewing with the final fabric.
