It's perfect for clothing (underwear) between 1800 and 1820. We have made the pattern following a historical perspective, however we have followed a more simplified sewing method of making it so that a greater number of people can use it.
This type of stay is essential to obtain the silhouette of the regency. You will have seen this type of silhouette in series or movies like The Bridgertons or Emma.
However, from my perspective, it is also a very nice garment that you can make in current fabrics to wear over blouses or dresses. Depending on the fabric you can get a more fashionista or cottagecore look.
