Sora is a voluminous, one handle hobo bag fully finished with a lining. It features one zipper pocket on the inside and fastens with a magnetic snap. The bag can additionally be stiffened with foam and a detachable bottom.
Approximate sewing time — 1 day (8 hours).
To sew this bag, choose heavyweight or medium weight fabrics with no stretch or with very little stretch. The fiber content can include natural or artificial fibers, blends and synthetics
The following fabrics are recommended: faux leather, faux fur.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
Attention! We do not recommend lightweight and very stretchy fabrics.
The bag in the photo is made of faux fur. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and low-stretch. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 495 g/m2.
The lining is a blend of polyester (55%) and viscose (45%). The fabric weight is 100 g/m2.
The bag is interfaced with fusible 2 mm thick MTP foam with density 70 kg/m3 (D70).
The detachable bottom is made of 2 mm thick leather board. The fiber content is 100% leather fibers.

1. The pdf pattern in your chosen size, in the following formats: Letter, A4 and plotter format. The size of the plotter format is indicated in the name of the document. You will need a plotter printer that can print at least 900 mm width. Note that for height categories 3 and 4, the plotter pattern comes on 2 pages.
2. Detailed instructions which include cutting layouts, construction steps accompanied by photos, as well as instructions on how to work with Vikisews patterns (printing, taping, adjusting, sewing terminology).
