Suggested fabrics include:
• Wool with elastane, worsted wool, or soft cashmere. Eco/leather or velvet fabric for collar and sleeves.
• The estimates of the amount of fabric needed are based on 60” wide (150cm) fabrics.
❖ Main fabric 1: 85 cm;
❖ Main fabric 2 (eco-leather or velvet): 90cm;
❖ Interfacing: 10x60 cm; NOTE! If your main fabric 1 is softer than your main fabric 2
(eco/leather or velvet, etc.) we recommend applying interfacing on the front and back
pieces too: 85cm;
❖ Metallic zipper – 1 piece (60cm length).
• Use ruler, tape measure, and spools of thread to match your fabric. For stretch knit fabric the most common threads used to sew are textured polyester or textured nylon threads. Textured threads are ideal for overedge and cover stitch seams because they offer excellent seam coverage and seam elasticity. You can use this kind of thread to avoid popped seams. Also you will need scissors or rotary, iron, clips, or pins. Sewing machine.
