Choosing a size for a protruding tummy

For women: to choose the right size for bottom garments, use the hip measurement plus the tummy protrusion

To sew this bomber jacket, choose suiting fabrics with the following properties:

- medium weight, structured, non- or low-stretch

- the fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + polyester, etc.), and synthetics (polyester)

- the following fabrics are recommended: cotton gabardine, denim, faux leather

Attention! We do not recommend soft and lightweight (outerwear) fabrics.

For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).

As an additional fabric (for the cuffs, collar, and waistband), choose knit fabrics that are medium weight and medium stretch.

The following fabrics are recommended: rib knits.

As an interlining fabric, choose knit fabrics that are medium weight and medium stretch.

The following fabrics are recommended: jersey fabrics.

Attention! The interlining and additional fabrics must contain spandex or elastane.

For the insulation layer, choose 150 g/m2 materials: alpolux, isosoft, thinsulate, holofiber, polyester batting, or use pre-quilted outerwear fabrics.

The bomber jacket in the photo is made of gabardine. The fabric is medium weight, structured and low-stretch. The fiber content is a blend of cotton (60%) and polyester (40%). The fabric weight is 240 g/m2.
