Yuki is a voluminous puffer tote bag featuring a lining and one zipper pocket on the inside.
Approximate sewing time — 6 hours.
To sew this bag, choose outerwear fabrics with the following properties:
- lightweight or medium-weight, non-stretch or with very little stretch, windproof and water-resistant
the fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton), artificial fibers (viscose), blends (cotton + polyester, etc.), and synthetics (polyester)
- the following fabrics are recommended: outerwear fabrics, dewspo.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibers (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
For the insulation, use alpolux.
For the interlining, use spunbond 30 g/m2. This material is also known as "agrotex" and can additionally be found in gardening or hardware stores.
Attention! We do not recommend heavyweight, thick or stretchy fabrics.
The bag in the photo is made of outerwear fabric. The fabric is lightweight, pliable, low-stretch, and water-resistant. The fiber content is 100% polyester. The fabric weight is 95 g/m2.
The lining is a blend of polyester (55%) and viscose (45%). The fabric weight is 100 g/m2.
The insulation is alpolux 200, artificial material, a modern alternative to synthetic down. It’s soft, not rigid, and lightweight.

1. The pdf pattern in your chosen size, in the following formats: Letter, A4 and plotter format. The size of the plotter format is indicated in the name of the document. You will need a plotter printer that can print at least 900 mm width. Note that for height categories 3 and 4, the plotter pattern comes on 2 pages.
2. Detailed instructions which include cutting layouts, construction steps accompanied by photos, as well as instructions on how to work with Vikisews patterns (printing, taping, adjusting, sewing terminology).
